Whether you’ve moved country, changed workplace, or returned somewhere that no longer feels like home, transitions can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and those around you. Through coaching, I support people navigate career and cultural change with greater clarity, confidence and belonging.
Do any of these sound familar?
You don’t have to navigate these transitions alone. Coaching with me can support you with making sense of change and moving forward without losing who you are.
Coaching with me
I’m Libby – a qualified Professional Coach accredited through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
I understand what it’s like to feel disconnected from your surroundings – whether that’s feeling like you don’t quite “fit in” at work, navigating life in a new cultural environment or because ‘home’ now feels unfamiliar.
I understand how these experiences can quietly shape your confidence and sense of self.
Coaching with me is simple and it works.
I do not follow a set approach or fixed formula.
I don’t claim to know your life better than you do.
Coaching with me is tailored to you. I listen to you and your individual experience, I ask questions to deepen self-awareness and challenge you to question unhelpful assumptions and beliefs. I gently hold you to account to take small steps to move forward with your goals.
Sometimes I use creative exercises to support new thinking such as drawing your thoughts and using objects to visualise your thinking. These approaches can help surface insights that may not emerge through conversation alone.
I offer coaching virtually, as well as in person in Farnham, Surrey.
Benefits of coaching with me
My Coaching Offers
Arrived
If you have recently relocated or entered a new workplace. Together we’ll explore feelings of disconnect, loneliness, culture shock or exclusion. We’ll identify practical small steps to help you build a stronger sense of self, belonging and confidence in your new surroundings.
Moving
If you are preparing to move workplaces or relocate. If you no longer feel you belong where you are – or you’re simply ready for change – we’ll explore your options, identify your next steps and build the confidence to start afresh.
Returning
If you are returning home after living elsewhere. Your identity has shifted, and home may feel unfamiliar. Coaching with me can support you in reconciling old and new identities and understanding how you can re-build community in a place you once called ‘home’.
Coaching Programmes
Every programme starts with a 45 minute free exploratory session – this session is your opportunity to discover whether coaching is right for you before committing to further sessions. It’s also a chance for us to understand the goals or issues you’d like to focus on.
The exploratory session is followed by core coaching sessions where we’ll explore your goals further as well as strategies and solutions.
Each session lasts one hour and may come with action plans to support you in moving forward. If booking multiple sessions, our last session will be to wrap-up and consolidate insights and create a plan for sustaining your growth beyond the programme.
Sprint Session
A focused 1‑hour session to help you move through one specific challenge with clarity. Ideal when you need quick direction, a sounding board, or support with a decision. A simple, powerful step forward – no long‑term commitment.
Step Forward Package
Across three sessions, we define your direction, understand what’s getting in the way, and build confidence in your next steps.
You leave with:
• A clear, achievable goal
• A grounded sense of direction
• Confidence to begin taking action
Best for: If you want clarity and a plan.
Step Up Package
Across six sessions we go beyond clarity: you practise new behaviours, test ideas in real life, and strengthen your sense of belonging, identity and self‑trust.
You leave with:
• A stronger, more aligned goal
• Real‑world practice and accountability
• Noticeable momentum you can sustain
Best for: If you want support while applying change, not just planning it.
If cost is a barrier for you – I believe coaching should be accessible to those who may benefit from it. If cost is a barrier due to your circumstances, such as being a student, between jobs, or experiencing financial hardship, please get in touch. I keep a small number of reduced-rate places available and would be happy to discuss your situation.

My credentials
Having lived and worked in different parts of the UK, Spain and New Zealand, I also bring first‑hand understanding of what it means to start again, adapt across cultures and navigate professional and personal change.
I draw on my 5 years’ experience in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and an MA in Intercultural Communication to support people in understanding their cultural identities. This also ensures I take account of the whole person – including lived experience, identity, as well as any cultural or organisational barriers that are outside of the person’s control.
For almost a decade my work has focused on supporting other people adapt to new surroundings. This includes supporting international students to adapt to the UK academic culture, coaching diverse colleagues in the workplace to build belonging and direction and working with refugees in local community integration.
These experiences and qualifications have given me deep insight into the emotional and practical challenges of transition, uncertainty and rebuilding confidence. They also underpin a coaching practice that is informed, rigorous and grounded in both theory and lived experience.
My Network
While I’ll be your coach, I also work within a network of trusted and experienced coaches whose expertise I draw upon to support your progress:
